Robin is based at the ALTEA headquarters in London with over 25 years’ experience in aviation consultancy services. Starting at British Airways as a design executive, Robin worked between marketing and engineering. He then went on to join and establish the industrial design studios at Hunting Aviation plc and AIM Aviation plc, both companies became key cabin product suppliers to award winning airlines.

In 2003 Robin established ctm design consultancy – specialising in the interior and architectural design and engineering of technically challenging, aircraft interiors. His designs have become a key catalyst in the winning and development of new business and products for airlines (Virgin, Emirates), aircraft manufacturers (Airbus, Boeing), and private aircraft owners worldwide.

Robin’s key skill set focuses on beautifully aesthetic robust design solutions. Robin is proficient with EASA regulatory compliance topics related to cabin safety, cabin configuration in the design and operation of various commercial and business aircraft. His ability to utilise his manufacturing knowledge and supply chain network at the early stages of concept development make for an innovative blend with award winning results.

A French native, fluent in English and based in Toulouse, Jean has more than 25 years of experience in aviation consultancy services. He started his career at Airbus in 1998, then moved to Bureau Veritas in 1999, advising financiers, airlines and MROs mostly on airworthiness management, regulatory and technical matters.
Managing a worldwide team of 15 consultants and experts during his 15 years with Bureau Veritas and then Altaïr Aero Projects, Jean has gained vast experience in aircraft valuations and inspections, aircraft sales and procurement as well as arrangement of air transport solutions for numerous governments, corporations, world-class financiers and operators.

Well versed in a variety of specific topics, including aircraft payload range, performance and operating economics, aircraft value modelling, maintenance enrolment contracts and delivery conditions, Jean has set new standards in managing business aircraft procurement for governments. He has also been responsible for more than 300 appraisals of business jets, turboprop aircraft and helicopters for a variety of financiers, corporations, law firms and operators.

A founding partner of ALTEA, Jean focuses on aircraft acquisitions, inspections and valuations as well as market intelligence.

Angus graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1989 with a degree in economics and business followed by a further degree in Air Transport Management at Cranfield University in 2010. Fluent in English, German and French he is currently based near London. He started his aviation industry career at Banque Paribas, in Paris in 1991. In 1996 he re-located to the UK where he joined Airstream International Group. In the last decade, he has focused primarily on commercial aviation leasing and finance strategies with both ALTEA and Amsterdam based specialist regional aircraft lessor, TrueNoord, which he co-founded in 2016.

Leading a variety of projects with internal and contracted teams of technical, commercial, legal and operations specialists, Angus has gained in-depth experience in complex aircraft procurement tenders of regional aircraft portfolios and state aircraft. His focus areas include aircraft operating cost benchmarking, valuation of commercial aircraft, operator due diligence and transaction management.

As a partner at ALTEA, Angus is responsible for commercial and regional aircraft as well as aircraft financing procurement and leasing advisory services across the company including business aircraft.

Chris brings four decades of aviation industry expertise spanning aircraft marketing, development and sales, airline operations and strategic consultancy.

He began his career at British Aerospace in airline analysis and product marketing before advancing to Communications Manager at the European Regions Airline Association and International Sales Manager at Slingsby Aviation.

During fourteen years with Eastern Airways Group, Chris held senior commercial and operational positions, including key nominated post holder roles and was accountable manager for the Group’s Air Southwest subsidiary. He helped transform Eastern from a three-aircraft operation into an award-winning, profitable airline with over thirty aircraft.

Since 2013, Chris has specialised in aviation consultancy. He has also held non-executive leadership roles with an island-based regional airline, airport operators, an engineer training organisation and a technology company developing sustainable aviation solutions.

Leading cross-functional teams, Chris has delivered projects spanning airlines of all scales, special mission operations, and airport infrastructure development. As an associate at ALTEA, he focuses on commercial and regional aircraft projects, bringing deep operational knowledge to complex aviation challenges.

With 30 years’ experience in the business aircraft industry,  Andrew’s knowledge of the worldwide business and regional aircraft market enables ALTEA’s customers to benefit from his expertise. Knowing the requirements of a customer and which solution best fits is not a straightforward exercise: Andrew fully understands the complexities and the sensitivities of matching solutions to requirements.

As a consultant to ALTEA, Andrew delivers his expertise in aircraft sales, acquisitions, inspections and valuations.

With an operational background that started in the Royal Danish Air Force, Michael delivers an extensive technical knowledge of aircraft and helicopters to provide ALTEA’s customers with distinct skills and services in production oversight, technical acceptance and compliance monitoring to EASA standards, alongside continued airworthiness and safety management oversight. Michael’s dedication provides family offices and HNWIs peace of mind throughout their aircraft’s operation.
